Jakarta, Indonesia - The 22nd edition of Southeast Asia’s largest and most comprehensive textile and garment exhibition will take place on 15–18 April 2026 at JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta. As Indonesia’s only trade fair covering the full textile and garment value chain, from machinery and textile products to printing technologies and chemicals, the exhibition continues to serve as a key platform for industry growth and transformation.

Spanning over 35,000 square meters, the event will host more than 800 exhibitors representing 1,500 global brands and is expected to attract over 35,000 professional visitors from 29 countries. By connecting global innovators, manufacturers, and decision-makers, Indo Intertex & Inatex 2026 drives collaboration, accelerates technology adoption, and creates real business opportunities across the sector.
More than just an exhibition, Indo Intertex & Inatex plays a strategic role in advancing Indonesia’s textile ecosystem, facilitating business matching, encouraging investment, and supporting local manufacturers in improving efficiency, product quality, and global competitiveness. Each edition generates strong commercial impact, from business deals to long-term partnerships, contributing to stronger supply chains and expanded market access.

This momentum is further supported by the Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) between Indonesia and the United States, which introduces a zero percent import tariff on Indonesian textiles and apparel under a tariff-rate quota scheme. The policy is expected to significantly boost Indonesia’s competitiveness in the U.S. market 28 times larger than the domestic market while supporting around 4 million workers and impacting up to 20 million Indonesians. With exports currently at USD 4 billion, the industry is targeting tenfold growth in the coming decade.
Reflecting on the exhibition’s role, Paul Kingsen, Director of PT Peraga Expo, stated: “Indo Intertex and Inatex is built to serve the industry with—relevant suppliers, credible technology showcases, and the kind of business environment that helps manufacturers progress decisions faster. We are encouraged by the quality of participation and the market’s clear focus on efficiency, innovation and sustainable manufacturing.”
Jemmy Kartiwa Sastraatmadja, Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association, added: “The implementation of a zero percent tariff through this agreement brings renewed optimism to our industry. It opens wider access to global markets and strengthens Indonesia’s competitiveness at a crucial time. We hope this momentum can mark the beginning of a true revival for the textile and textile products (TPT) industry, encouraging investment, boosting exports, and ultimately revitalizing the entire ecosystem.”
As the industry navigates a rapidly evolving global landscape, Indo Intertex & Inatex 2026 stands not only as a business platform, but as a catalyst for long-term industry resilience, bridging innovation, policy momentum, and market demand while generating tangible economic impact across the value chain and supporting the next phase of sustainable growth for Indonesia’s textile and garment sector.
